Fishing has been picking up but because of the wind lots more bank fishing. Launching a boat can be a challenge.
Panfish for bluegill and crappie so great but you know it will get better. As always the lagoon has some big crappies.Catfish is going good anchovies or chicken livers.
Striper fishing has been good on baits More luck with worms than anchovies lately, and the troll, using good jigs with lots of tail action.
Trout fishing in the mouth of Elizabeth canyon has been fair. Artificials are working kastmasters and rapalas.
The bass will start spawning soon. In the meantime, varying depths, but 15- 20 feet but will get shallow as they nest. Worms right now - the real ones- are your best bet but plastic worms either fly lined or on a drop-shot set up.Senkos are a third option
